During my 4 weeks spent in the USA, this was without a doubt, the best place I stayed in. For what you're paying you get so much in terms of free services such as breakfast, social events on the daily, and occasionally people just heading in giving everyone free wine and beer. The atmosphere was so incredibly wonderful, everyone says hello as you walk past. The hostel collectively comes together at night to hang out on the balcony and vibe. The place has a fantastic New Orleans design with the backyard and exterior painting, There is also a CAT and a spa, this joint has it all. The workers are super friendly and do really well in making you feel like you belong with everyone else. Social events like pub crawls and bike rides are held frequently and really entice you in joining in even if you're nervous. I can't honestly express how much I fell in love with this place, I never wanted to leave. WILL CERTAINLY BE BACK IN THE FUTURE.

The beds were comfortable, and the hosts were excellent.

This hostel is 3 km from the Fair Grounds and 5 km from City Park. Best value in Nola hands down. Unequivocally. Great staff minus the older heavy fella. He's kind of a grouch. But from the minute you walk in, you feel comfortable. The staff gives you the tour and you feel at home. Best hostel I've been to in the US. I've stayed in the dorms before and they're fine but got the private room this time and it's worth every penny. Even during one of the busiest times of the (Jazzfest), the shared bathroom was hardly ever shared, it never got too crazy loud, it just didn't even seem busy. It's so mellow. It really is like the best hostels in the Caribbean or Europe or South America. But yeah, private room is huge, beds are great, community feel, smokin by the pool at night, staff is awesome. You can't go wrong. In particular, Ryan from the staff was awesome. Ryan gets his own separate 10 star rating. He gave me and my friend the tour and immediately made us feel comfortable. He was personable, helpful, and always there for us when we needed him. He was also always helping other guests and cleaning when off the clock. Just above and beyond. Plus, he's just a good ass dude.

Girard Park is 5 minutes’ drive from the hostel. Lafayette Regional Airport is 3 miles away. A really fun and welcoming place to stay. Music out the back was excellent. Definitely recommend!

The staff and their service was even better than staying at a hotel. It honestly felt like home like a family. One of the staff members, Victoria was very professional and helped me to explore New Orleans even on her day off which I appreciate.

The area is quiet, clean and Free of scuttle at night time even though it's on one of the main roads near downtown. Our family values being close but far at the same time. This property is our go-to, The house is exceptionally clean, Completely stocked with all of the necessities that a family needs for cooking including spices. And wonderful desk setups in every room! 🙏 We love the long drapes and beautiful white setting decor. The host chance has always been above par.
