Ranong

Everything! - the care for the place you can see it and feel it - all the people working there are really nice - amazing garden - awesome breakfast - cold water refill, coffee, tea and some snacks all day - Aircon and comfortable bed with curtains, plugs and light - clean room - shower with shampoo and soap - bathroom and shower really clean It was like staying in a hotel and still socialise with everyone! Amazing!!
Ko Phayam
At the hostel, the rooms include a desk, bed linen and a patio with a garden view. All rooms in CoCoCo are fitted with a coffee machine and a laptop.

I spent three nights here and didn‘t want to leave. Within only 5 minutes on a scooter you can reach beautiful Buffalo Bay, which is great for swimming, Long Beach is only 10 minutes away.
The cafe and shared rooms are furnished with so much love. The bed is comfortable and has it‘s own vent and locker. The bathroom is spacious and clean.
I felt like home and enjoyed the time with Dreamm, one of the three owners. For me as a solo-traveller it was really nice to meet new people everyday, since the cafe is also a coworking space and visited by many people daily.
The iced coffee i had every morning was the best coffee on the whole island and also the breakfast Dreamm served everyday was unique and delicious. Try the croissants and cookies, too!

Ko Phayam
Located in Ko Phayam 200 metres from the beach, 3 km from Koh Payam, Phayam Hostel has a garden and rooms with free WiFi access. Featuring a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with a terrace. The property features a restaurant. The cheapest place in Phayham but it's good enough for the price. I stayed for almost two weeks. The owner seems to never be around but there is a lady wondering around who doesn't speak english but surely you'll find her very charming and helpful, she even did my laundry. Also the hostel has a common area in front with 2 hammocks and free water. Surely you'll meet other amazing people staying here. Don't forget to bring your own lock if you want to use the lock.
Best pkace in Ranong. Kanchana at the reception helps organize ferry tickets, motorbike rentals. Very clean hostel and nice staff.
Everything was very clean and quiet and the location was perfect. The hostel is in front of the public bus stop to go to the pier and close to the walking street with restaurants and live music bars. The owner was very friendly and gave me some tips for my next destination
It's has been the best hostel so far. There is everything you need there and the lady is adorable.
This is the perfect place to stay for budget travellers in Kon Phayam. The huts are very nice and cosy with a lovely balcony to chill outside and have a smoke. We weren't bothered by mosquitoes at all. Even though there was no aircon it was not that hot and usually I can't survive without aircon at all. It's right beside the best and cheapest restaurants in Koh payam and walking distance to everything on the island.
One of the best hostels we stayed at in Asia, “posh-tel”. Beautiful, clean & comfortable. Great location.
Om and Ing the owners are amazing and interact with all the guests, the hostel has good vibes and energy and the people staying there soon become part of a koh payam family as soon as you walk in. went to stay for two days and ended up staying for 10 days. great location near restaurants and bars and lets you know what events are happening on in the evenings. people that don’t even stay at the hostel go there to drink and chill because it is just a VIBE. Also close to longbeach.
best place to meet fellow backpackers. we did something together every day and night. felt like a big family. the owner sets it up so beautifully you never get bored. the location is a quick walk to long beach, and there's good food at the hostel and all around it. bed was comfy, bathrooms were clean, owner helped book a boat and bus to Bangkok. 10/10 experience

Exquisite design and furnishings. All the facilities are new and amazing…common area, kitchen, free drinks & breakfast…the bathrooms are beautiful. Staff so friendly, welcoming and helpful. They can book transport and help you use public transport. great location on Walking Street. Calm, relaxing hostel. Definitely one of the top five hostels I have ever stayed in.
