At the hostel rooms include bed linen and towels. My favorite place we stayed on the Mae Hong Song loop. We had the twin room on the second floor. There is a nice balcony and there is a view that looks over the peaceful mountains. The hostess and her mother were incredibly sweet! it also was great value!

Amazing hostel if you’re looking for hippie activities and socializing with interesting people. Laid back, chill vibe, yoga every morning and ice baths every afternoon, as well as 2-3 other activities every day, such as ecstatic dancing, pub quizes, trekking trips, arts & crafts and many more. Vibe-wise definitely the best hostel I’ve been to in SE Asia. Staff was also amazing.
We stayed in a private double room and I think this has to be one of the best hostels in Pai. Live music every night from around 7pm-midnight and the tables fill up QUICK, so ideal just being up the stairs and can walk down for a table before it gets too busy! Reasonable prices at the bar. Location is perfect - 5 minutes walk from the minivan drop/pickup area and just at the bottom of the road from all the night street food vendors. Good quality air conditioning in the room and towels provided.
The greatest advantage of this hotel is by far the ambiance, with barbecues, pool parties, bar crawls, quiz nights and many other fun activities organized by the wonderful team. This is arguably the perfect hostel for the solo traveler or a group of friends looking to meet new people. Other than that, rooms are pretty clean and comfortable, and most importantly air conditioned. Each has a private bathroom, aside from a public one. There are lockers in the room itself, which is very comfortable.
Cheap and quiet place. It's located out of the town, so you better got a bike. Local market and shops are still not far away. Bungalows are budget and have just a bed, a fan and a bathroom. There's an outdoor public area with a bar and pool table. Check-in and check-out was easy, and you may keep your bags at the reception and use public toilet and shower after check-out.
One of the best hostels I’ve ever been at! This hostel is a spiritual experience 🫶🏻 people are extremely nice, a lot of people from other hostels also come here to hang out. Plenty of activities to keep you busy. It’s far away from the Center yes but that’s part of the magic.
I stayed in mad monkey for 3 nights and the staff were soo nice Especially Chai who went out of his way to make us feel welcome and give us loads of reccomendations he kept us updated on events in the hostel and overall was amazing!! The rooms were really clean, it served nice food and cheap drink.
Wow. Society House is without doubt the best hostel in Thailand. It’s so beautiful the furnishings, gardens, dormitories! Stunning. Wonderful breakfast and met some fantastic travellers. 10 stars.
Best hostel I’ve stayed at in Thailand, really social and easy to meet people. Ended up extending my stay here. Rooms are clean and all the staff are great, especially Jacob who was really chatty and friendly!
The best hostel we have stayed at in Thailand by far! Rooms are very clean and new, shower is amazing! Very sociable hostel! Bar open every night with good night life (special shout out to the bar man who was so lovely). The bar has all sorts of games out for you to get involved with… beer pong, connect 4, Uno, cards etc… met so many great people at this hostel! Great location and staff are very welcoming. Pool is clean and refreshing when it’s sunny. Cannot fault this hostel at all! Perfect for young backpackers who love to socialise!
I think this is the best hostel in Pai! Good atmosphere and many opportunities to meet new people. The managers are very involved with the guests. Yoga classes are offered every day and trips are organized. The rooms are hygienic and comfortable enough. Good value for money. I would definitely go back here and regret not being able to stay longer.
