Amazing hostel! So clean and well maintained! Lovely dorm and social area. The best hostel kitchen I’ve seen to date! Fantastic staff that were so friendly and welcoming. Comfy beds and modern interior throughout. Massive lockers. Lots of events hosted by the hostel and the information pack about Gothenburg was a wonderful addition! Tasty breakfast with a wide selection of food! Would definitely stay here again!
Not the first time I stayed here, and perhaps not the last. Of course it's a simple hostel, situated in a historic building, yet it's charming, taken care of and with everything you need for a budget stay. Located a bit outside the city center, with a tram stop and shops just around the corner. STF Hostels are always a good option when in Sweden.
This accomodation was very clean and modern. Located in a very calm neighbourhood and only a few minutes from the bus stop, the location was more than satisfactory. Additionally, the rooms were clean and with a safety lockers and the kitchen well equipped. Compared to other hostels, this one had a lot of bathrooms and toilets so you did not have to wait to shower. The breakfast was tasty with a wide choice of food. The Hostel also offers the free walking tour and you can buy some souvenirs at the information desk.

Had a lovely little stay here for two nights. It’s in a great location, less than 10 minute walk from the bus and train station with a direct bus to the airport. The room was comfortable, warm, nice hot showers and the included breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of hot and cold food, pastries, juice and hot drinks. All the staff I encountered were lovely and helpful. I felt safe here as a solo traveller. There is a Co op on the corner just a couple minutes walk away which was really convenient to get some snacks.
Great location, friendly staff, cheap cottages, good environment
cleanliness and the location of stay. Also accessibility at any time made things better for us. I chose the dormitory kind of room which was though cheap, were less privacy were maintained since unknown persons can be occupied in the same room.
Excellent location. Close to the high street, lots of shops and restaurants and the tram line. Welcoming staff. I cannot stress this enough the staff were great. Cheapest place to stay outside of a shared dormitory. Breakfast can be ordered onsite for an additional fee.
We really enjoyed the beds, they were extremely comfortable. Moreover, the hostel and the showers were very clean. The common area and the kitchen were really quiet. We stayed in a room of 4 people and it was very well isolated of sound. Best hostel I have ever been to! Thank you Backpackers Göteborg!!
