Out of the Blue has a perfect location so you can easily reach every point of the island. It's far away from the noise and only 3 minutes walk from downtown. Kind staff, beautiful house. Nice garden. wonderful breakfast.

I have not stayed at a hostel in a really, really long time. But I was traveling alone and looking to meet some like-minded people. Staying at Loving Strangers was the best decision I made during my time in Pico. Stefan, Pedro and the rest of the team were welcoming, warm, friendly and OMG... so much fun! I truly had a blast during my time there, met some amazing people, and had some great discussions. I even ended up doing a night climb of Mount Pico with a few other solo travelers from the hostel. Very grateful the universe brought me to a place that took such good care of me. On a practical note, the shared bunk room was super clean, as were all the common areas. There's a supermarket 3 mins walk away, right next to store that sells almost everything (I found headlamps here). Parking was super easy and the neighbors were the sweetest.

Fabiana is so sweet and helpful. really made the stay great. location is perfect.

Wonderful hostel, amazing views! Very clean, modern and the personnel is very attentive! The kitchen is fully equipped. The hostel is definitely exceeded all our expectations! We would be happy to stay there next time! Highly recommended!

Largo Bispo Boutique Hostel is located in Horta, 500 metres from Praia da Conceição and 2.6 km from Praia do Almoxarife Beach. With a garden, the 3-star hostel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. The accommodation provides a shared kitchen, a shared lounge and luggage storage for guests. This is a fantastic place! I really enjoyed staying there - nice rooms, quiet, well equiped kitchen and great staff. A good stay if you are doing the Ultra Blue Island trail run too, you'll meet other runners too :D

We loved charm of the hostess and her attention to details all around the place, thanks to which you could feel yourself at home. Such places deserve even more than a 10 :)

Location couldn’t have been better for us! we enjoyed our 4 night stay.
