A continental breakfast is served every morning at the property. We had a great stay at Krusty Hostel! The rooms are bright and spacious, great hot shower, rooms get cleaned every day. The breakfast was also nice, something different every day. Kitchen and rooftop terrace. Most of all, the staff was really helpful and flexible, it was no problem checking in early after we arrived with a night bus and checking out late. The owner also runs a travel agency and organizes tours and treks, e.g. to Huayhuash. He was always really helpful and flexible and gave us good recommendations. Would definitely stay here again! Thanks!

You can play table tennis at the hostel, and the area is popular for cycling. Paul and Anita are simply amazing. We arrived at 7am and they checked us into a room and gave us breakfast too. Breakfast was great and there was something different every day. They are so knowledgable on all the local walks and will book everything for you and offer advice. The room was spacious and although it was a bit cold you have loads of blankets. The shower was really hot too. Couldn't have asked for anything more.

Besides the regular tours around Huaraz they even managed to arrange something very specific for me to meet my expectations. They rented me a termo flask without any charge for my expedition tours. Also I could leave my luggage for free during my climbing tours and they let me have a shower on my last day in the afternoon. It was just nice to come home and have a chat with one of the two and talk about upcoming plans or anything. I can definitely recommend that hostel. It's clean, well located close to the plaza and it's very good value. Would always go back when I'm in Huaraz again! :)

We where able to check straight in at 7am when we arrived off an overnight bus! and on the day we where leaving we had a 10pm night bus and we where allowed to have the room up to 3pm with no hesitation or extra charge!! We also planned hikes through the owners.

The room was great, clean and spacious. Erik our host was absolutely incredible; he picked us up from the bus station and was always available to answer questions about hikes (as he is a guide). He showed us around the city, took us to the mirador and we even did laguna 69 with him and his family. And when our bus to Lima was canceled, he truly saved us by arranging a colectivo and giving directions on how to get to Lima before our flight. A simple breakfast was provided most days and when we left too early we asked for some bread the night before to take with us. The shower was decent, hot with good pressure except for one day. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk from the center. Overall, for the price and the incredible hospitality of Erik, it’s one of the best places we have stayed.

She helped us with booking the agency for the Santa Cruz Trek or the bus for our following journey.
