The nearest airport is Bocas del Toro Isla Colon International Airport, a few steps from the hostel. Our room had the best view and it is huge! . Sunset view was amazing! Very clean and staff are very accommodating. Good place to have a sun go downer drink, they have amazing DJ.

I think it's Nando who makes the cocktails - they are top-notch and he gives you service with a smile. I was blown away by how kind everyone is and how much they make you feel at home. We did a jungle hike to a beautiful beach (lead by volunteer Serena who did a great job and pointed out some cool spiders and the little red frogs). Adele was another an amazing volunteer. Marco, Sebas, Joanna, Victor, etc. the list goes on, everyone was incredible and made us never want to leave! I also enjoyed reading about the history of how Bambuda Lodge and Castle came to be, this made me appreciate staying there even more. It’s hard to put into words what a special place this is. Truly one of the best places we have ever stayed out of all our travels.

Jaguar and his staff are super friendly and helpful… The 3 hour happy hour is great, the two kitchens are greatly needed when it’s busy and the location over the water is perfect for relaxing in the hammocks… Also, the improvements to Old Bank and the trail to Wizard Beach itself have helped with the whole experience.

The hostel is also a school for teaching spanish. The staff and owner were really helpful, and they organized daily tours! The dorm I stayed in was female and only 4 beds. I pretty much had the dorm all to myself the whole time. It's not a party hard hostel and it was exactly what I needed. The wifi was fast and I had lots of work done. The location is great, not far from everything we needed. The facility was good, everything was very clean!

Excellent stay with great location. We had pleasent 2 night stay in quirky and charming house. Super host Katarina with her tips regarding our needs. House is located close to city centre and that was our main goal for short stay. On the other hand it was far from noisy part of the town. We chilled during breakfast on small front patio hanging out on hammock and watching interesting live of Bocas. Kitchen is well equipped and overall very interesting furnitures and styl of house gave us amazing impression. Highly recommended for everyone. We stayed in room nr 1 and we very happy with our stay.
