Authentic old rorbu house in the middle of Å. We were skeptical towards shared bathrooms but were pleasantly surprised. They were very clean. In fact, the one we used as a family has not been used, and the facility was fully booked. It is very nice to have a mutual understanding and respect of spaces when shared with others. We got to see the catch of the day from a group that just returned from a fishing trip, which was very exciting for our little one. See fish being gutted, seagulls swarming the area, and crabs fighting on the ocean bed below in the crystal clear water. The room was spacious and had a sink, which was a plus, so one could wash their face and brush teeth in the morning.

Lofotr Overnatting provides accommodation in Bøstad. The accommodation features a shared kitchen and a shared lounge for guests. Great location for the Viking Museum (which was great). Otherwise facilities were good and met expectations. The kitchen was amazing with lots of great equipment. The other guests were very quiet and there was zero sense of community.
