It's located at the heart of the city, restaurants and convenience stores are just a walking distance. Grab is also easy to get, and the small boat 'sampan' is also always on standby if you want to go to the other side of the river to enjoy the local food and 'kuih lapis' for a cheaper price. And the view at night is really nice. My family and I enjoyed our stay, everything is clean, the place itself is safe, it's comfy and very spacious, and the host is very clear with the information on how to check into the premise.
The price room worth it - very cheap as better than other expensive budget hotel & good location
Great location, friendly staffs and most importantly a clean room. Sound proofing is not the best but acceptable. Stayed in the studio room and it was quite spacious than I expected. Their housekeeper, Malek left us a greeting note in the room which was a nice touch. Enjoyed my stay here overall and I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Clean, comfortable and great value! Great location. Coded front door and lockable bedrooms. The host KD is absolutely fantastic - she was extremely welcoming and made it feel like home, very very friendly and very informative - she gave me lots of info in advance about check in as well as useful info on day trips etc. KD is a super star and really cemented Quiikcat being a fantastic hostel - I will definitely be back!!

I like that it was cheap and clean, best for a budget travel and has the basic amenities, with clean towels and bedsheets.
Typical hostel for backpackers and budget tourists, besides there is practically no other choice in the area. Nicely situated on the riverside, nice relaxing view from the terrace. Modestly equipped, fans in the rooms, tea and coffee available. The hostel has a pleasant homely atmosphere. Wonderful owner Diana who is the soul of this place. Helps with everything, arranges transportation, guide (private guide costs MYR 150 for half day, airport transfer MYR 5 per person), will prepare delicious home-made breakfasts and dinners.
