Ara is the best host with a big heart for everyone. She gave me a lot of tips for nice beaches and local restaurants and helped me with all my questions. The warm and welcoming atmosphere in the hostel made me extend my stay to one week instead of a few nights.
Everything is clean, beds are comfy and the kitchen is well equipped.
I will never forget my first week of my two month travel because Ara and all the people I met at Casa Samay made it unforgettable.
When I have the chance I will definitely come back. <3

Cozumel
Conveniently established in the animated city center of San Miguel, Hostel Auikyani is located at only one block away from the island ferry pier. The hostel provides shared rooms for 4 or 6 people but also private bedrooms for double occupancy with 24 hours air conditioning system, free hi-speed Wi-Fi and power plugs for each bed (shared bathrooms). The hostal is located near the ferry so it was very easy to get to. The staff were very welcoming and provided a lot of tips and advices on what to see around the island. You can also get trips booked through the hostal at a reduce priced.

Situated in Cozumel, 34 km from Faro Celarain, Blue Magic Hostel features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. Boasting a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a terrace. Facilities include a barbecue and free WiFi is accessible throughout the property. The crew was creat, welcoming and helpful. They helped me a lot whenever i had an issue - they jumped right to help with it to solve it. Also bikes you can rent here bit cheaper than everywhere else. The bar/hangout area was great too, love the hammocas.

The accommodation provides a shared kitchen, and organising tours for guests. The personal space was HUGE. They have roll down dividers to keep out all the light and for privacy which was great— no waking up to someone turning on the overhead light
Location was great and the beds were comfortable. We had a family suite with bunk beds and were pleasantly surprised at the space. Small fridge, a/c worked, warm water for the shower. Budget hotel and worked for what we were looking for. Coffee at the breakfast was good. Pool was very small, but the view from the roof top was great. It was a nice spot to have your coffee in the morning and the kids still enjoyed to hang out in the pool at night for a quick swim.
Very clean, really helpful staff. the hostel is quite small but it makes it good for meaning other guests one of the best hostels I have been to
Very nice colored relaxing place with outdoor pool and jacuzzi. Very friendly and helpful owners, always ready to help and inform. Nice staff. Good breakfast. Kitchen and fridge available for guests, next to the pool. Next to an “always” open supermarket. About 2km from the town center (and certainly quieter so), where ferries to Playa del Carmen are also located. Taxis to the center are cheap (50 pesos, ie less than 3 US$). Good wifi. Cozumel seems to be a quiet and globally safe place.
Everything was more than perfect and Ara is an angel. Definitely the best hostel in Yucatan ♥️
Sooooo clean. Cleanest hostel I've ever been in I honestly think. The owners are very friendly and very helpful. They lend you a mask and tuba for free. Rooms were great, very comfortable, loved that you can decide yourself when to turn on the AC 24h/day and not just at night and you can decide how cold. Honestly I think the best hostel in cozumel. Oh and free water.
Hostel was ok, mainly because it is cheap for cozumel. I have been one night only. But it is a basic hostel where you can go to sleep for a fair price. Do not expect to be in a super hostel. Kitchen was basic, the share space was nice, very big. Bathrooms were ok as well. That is my opinion, for example I went to cozumel to dive and needed to sleep there, and thats all. Was a good choice. It was a quite hostel , that was ok as well. Personal was nice
Until now best hostel I have been in. Makes you feel at home, it is cosy, respect for relaxing. Free water, comfortable beds, nice garden. Airconditioning in each room. Personnel is in one word amazing. I loved it so much that I booked another 2 nights 🤍
Probably the best hostel in Cozumel. Ara and Diego are one of the kindest people I have met in my entire journey. I directly felt home when I arrived...they treat guests not as just guests but as family...I am in love with this place and can only recommend staying here <3 The hostel is really pretty and all the details are made with so much love...they give great tips for what to do on this beautiful island and you will always feel supported by them as they genuinely care about you being happy in Cozumel.
