Set in Minamicho, 48 km from Tokushima Station, Ichi The Hostel offers accommodation with a garden, private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. The place is beautifully decorated and at the same time super comfortable. Very spacious kitchen with everything you need if you want to cook. Lovely terrace to hang out (and also to easily hang up washed clothes), looking at the 23rd temple Yakuoji, which is lit up at night. Staff very welcoming and space to park bicycles. Super.comfy bed. It is a great place and town to stay for more than a day to have a rest. There is an onsen (faster by bicycle) with the pool in front of the ocean and they serve pretty good food (sashimi included!) and accept cards. There is a natural arch to visit next to this onsen and the town itself is really lovely, it had a special vibe, with the traditional houses and the culture regarding the seaturtles that go to lay eggs. Loved the exhibition of the cyclist couple that is put in the living room.

4S STAY Awaikeda ikedaonsenyoko offers air-conditioned accommodation in Miyoshi. The accommodation provides a shared lounge and luggage storage space for guests. I was in a small room with two beds but no roommate came. The actual "main" branch where the staff work and you check in is not the same as where I stayed. Mine was not staffed but about 1 minute on foot from the main branch. The place looked new, clean and quite stylish. It fit the vibe of the new, young entrepreneurs who want to revitalize small towns by making them more in their image. The building I stayed at had a small lounge shared by the people living there and while it had nice, brand new appliances, they had no real utensils or cups or anything like that. The main branch has a bar/café attached to it which is kind of why I missed it the first time I rode in front looking for my check in spot. The food there was very good and featured game meat - deer and boar to be precise. The staff were very friendly. Not sure about the owner's English as I spoke to him in Japanese.

The staff are always amazing. (Stayed here 3 different times). Can't beat the location. (Train & Restaurants near by.

Situated in Tokushima and within 1.9 km of Tokushima Station, Hostel Coliberty has a shared lounge, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi. Ai is so lovely, friendly and helpful. Was able to leave a small bag whilst completing Shikoku ohenro, as I had booked to return when completed.
