Situated in Selfoss, 47 km from Ljosifoss, The Coffee House features accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a shared lounge. The rooms in the hostel are equipped with a coffee machine. The house was in a farm and specificly in an old barn there was a spacious lounge and kitchen area nice bathroom.The owners are so nice and generous.Very clean and equipped with everything you need a even more.The room and property were exactly as I expected; Cosy, Charming, Comfortable.Overall great vibe and comfortable stay. Héradsskolinn Boutique Hostel ligger innenfor den populære sightseeingløypen Den gylne sirkel, og skilter med utsikt over Laugarvatn, vulkanen Hekla og Eyjafjallajökull. Absolutely beautiful attention to detail, loved all the old artifacts, pictures etc and that they preserved the history of this historic building! Rooms were cute with a great view, comfy beds and adequate info about everything. Dinner was good quality for the price, the coffee in the morning was some of the best I´ve had in Iceland. All the staff were exceptional, friendly and professional, and Dan at reception gave us all the info, answered our questions, was very informative about everything, polite and friendly. Whoever is in charge here, knows what they´re doing and has anticipated guest needs. Everything was clean, they provided slippers, cozy common areas and so nice to be able to see the history of the place decorating the hotel.

Positiv overraskelse! Enkelt og rask innsjekking. Et lite, men koselig rom med meget en god seng. Tilgang til et stort og godt utstyrt kjøkken, 2 rene og ganske artige bad i gangen. Mulighet å vaske klar om ønskelig. Anbefaler!
