Braemar
Braemar Youth Hostel is housed in a former shooting lodge in extensive grounds in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park. It offers a mix of traditional interiors and modern furnishings, offering an ideal base for outdoor activities and exploring Royal Deeside, the Cairngorms, Glenshee and The Lecht. Braemar is tiny and the hostel is just a short walk down the road from the centre, where the 201 bus stops. Facilities are excellent : large kitchen with all facilities and storage space, a breakfast room, a dining/meeting room and a large sitting room with tv and sofas. My dormitory was spacious with very comfortable bunk beds and lockers. (You need your own lock). There are large washing machines and dryers in the drying room(where you can hang wet outdoor clothing and put boots etc,) (Full large load with powder and drier for £6). You can arrange to have hostel breakfast forc an additional fee. WiFi is excellent when working but has minutes when it cuts out, but that goes with the location and probably affects the whole village,
Huntly

Nice hostel, had it all for myself which was a bit eerie but no surprise that time of the year. Bedrooms were okay, bit squeeky but else. Community room was nice and spacious, very big kitchen. The location is also nice, a lovely village with all you need. Visit the Whisky castle if you like whisky
dated hotel, but its a cheap stay for a contractor. clean and tidy enough, get what you pay for to be honest. Done a job for us. Breakfast was good.

Great location, room was clean and the decoration was fresh. Staff were very friendly - check in was easy in the upstairs bar. Room was a bit small - however it was a budget room so as expected,
A warm welcome upon arrival and advice on what was available at the hostel and the surrounding area in relation to outdoor activities and shopping I had a family room to myself which consisted of a comfortable king size bed and a bunk bed. The walk in shower was excellent as was the separate toilet and handbasin. There was even a plug in chiller box in the room The communal kitchen was large and spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you’d need.
Great location fr parking which was cheap fr 24 hrs only £6.50 all in all great place to stay to see the beautiful city of aberdeen well done copthorne hotel and staff 👍
Denmore House has a great location. The bathrooms were very clean. The host welcomed me and then I didn't see him again until my last night. For a budget stay it was okay.
Stayed at the lost guest house with family and the room was spacious, it’s quite close to the city centre and in the room there was directions to get into town, we had free wifi, it was a short distance to walk to restaurants and where our friends live in town. The place is very safe and they also have parking at the back which is quite cheap for £5 per night. We will definitely stay there again as the service was top notch
