We had a 6 bed dormitory. Cubicles were bigger than expected. 2 toilets and 2 shower rooms so that was good. Great location.
Great location near the tram station so it is easy to travel around Bordeaux. You can also walk by the canal all the way to the city center and it takes only 15-20 minutes. Option to have breakfast or family hostel dinner for affordable prices. Everyone there was very friendly. As a female solo traveller, I felt safe there. I had early checkout at 3am and there was no issue with it. I really appreciated the room key in form of a bracelet.
Gorgeous little room, I felt very safe as a solo female traveller. The sauna was a lovely bonus!! Great location, so quick and easy to get the train into the centre, or you can walk!
Absolutely beautiful home stay. Stunning rooms and bathroom..I felt like I was in a suite in a luxurious hotel. Huge and spectacular bathroom, bedroom and lovely sitting area with a view of the terrace and local streets. Breakfast was divine and prepared to your tastes each day. 15-minute safe and easy walk into town. Bus around the corner as well although we were happy to walk. Convenient street parking but be sure to organise cheaper rate with owners in advance. Room 'serviced' daily which was lovely and unexpected.
The view is the best thing about this property. Rooms are on the same basis as a youth hostel ( apart from the price ) - bare, basic & stained top cover for the bed . One night would be a maximum . Noisy well past midnight too with bar & restaurant noise below .
A very nice and tidy hostel in the very middle of the city of Bordeaux. At the same time very silent. It is accessible with any luggage you have (there is a lift to each floor). Beds are very cosy and provide privacy (in spite of being a hostel) - each bed has a courtain with own lamp. Breakfast is very cheap and it is enough to start a day. Restaurant is on the first floor.
Cheap and cheerful option on the outskirts of Bordeaux, very close to tram line for a 20 min ride into city centre. Room large, clean and comfortable. Beds excellent. Right opposite retail park for shopping, every essential catered for, but not very picturesque. Not important for a one night stay, however. Car park directly beneath hotel is only 18 euro for 24 hours and has a lift straight up to the hotel. Would definitely recommend this hotel for those on a budget
Great hostel, almost felt like a hotel at times (apart from the dormitory aspect of course). The rooms were well fitted out with huge lockers, privacy curtains, power sockets and separate toilet and shower. The bar downstairs was good for happy hour and the location is right near a lovely food market which is great if one’s budget allows. The staff also allowed me to stay an extra night in my original bed after my flight got cancelled which was amazing.
Central Hostel in Bordeaux was fantastic! The location was top-notch - buzzing even at midnight, and it felt safe, even for a solo female traveler. Tram stops were nearby and getting here from the airport was a breeze. Bonus points for being close to supermarkets, a pharmacy, and lots of cool places to visit. The receptionist was really friendly, and the facilities were great. But the best part? The comfy beds in the great bedrooms. This is the best hostel I've stayed in Bordeaux.
Look you get what you pay for, this is a budget (cheap) hotel and as a result you cant expect too much. The rooms were clean but basic, pillows are terrible, we bought a few better ones in a local supermarket (we were staying for 5 nights so it was worth it). There was a bad smell in one of the rooms we had but they agreed to move us no problems at all. Breakfast was basic but good also. The kids loved the bunk bed style rooms..
