I really liked everything about this hostel. I booked a private room and it was the most comfortable room I’ve stayed in at this price point. It is very well located, only a few minutes walk from the bus station. Check-in was smooth and Beatriz was amazing. She gave me some great information of what to see and do in the city. The hostel is renovated and everything looks brand new and is super clean. The kitchen and dining area are both comfortable and there is free coffee and tea. If I return to Santander I’ll definitely stay at Alojiamentos Cantiber. A big thank you to the staff who were all super kind!

The facilities were excellent, the hostel was very relaxed. Perfect after a days walking. Laura also was a great help. On leaving, I forgot to pack my waterproof jacket and Laura was able to post my jacket onto another hostel. I'd recommend Casa Loopez 👍

Guest rooms will provide guests with a fridge. What an amazing place, the owner is so full of warmth and kindness, she really wants you to be comfortable and have everything you need. Everything is great, room, beds, showers, kitchen, garden, etc. The free washing machine is amazingly helpful. The dogs and cat are a lovely bonus.

It's location is near the train station, which you need to take to get across the river. Albergue Piedad is welcoming, offers wonderful food, and is a great place o regenerate if you are walking the Camino.
