Airport shuttle and city tours are available for additional surcharge. This is the 3rd time I've stayed here while having eye surgery conveniently nearby. I am rebooking for a friend today. The facilities are well maintained, spotlessly clean, comfortable and the staff most helpful and understanding of our needs. Breakfast is healthful and excellent. Two small items installed in the rooms would add to the comfort of guests, a hot pot and a table lamp. Great value for the price.

Only 500 metres from Foch Square, Posada del Maple has practical rooms with private bathrooms. It features a common living room with a fireplace and a small patio with plants. WiFi is free in some areas. one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in. it is very pretty, the rooms are spacious and comfortable and the hot water showers are really hot, which is rare in Ecuador. the owners are very pleasant, every day they called me by my first name, it may be a detail but I think it shows that this hotel is not impersonal, that the owners recognize us and that they consider. I highly recommend this place.

Good bunk bed setup and comfy bed. Great location and decent food for when you don't want to venture out.
Very nice hostel in a good area of Quito. The bus to the historic center leaves in 1 minute walking distance. Market and Supermarket are just round the corner. We got an upgrade I guess as there were hardly any tourists when we were there. It was quiet at night, only in the morning some noise from the gas tank shop in front of the hostel. Very clean and spacious. Our bicycles where stored safely and the staff has many useful information about Quito and things to do around.
The hostel was run by the kindest of staff, making me feel welcome and looked after. The hostel was safe and very clean, with an atmospheric roof top terrace and a nice breakfast. The location is superb in the historic center of Quito.
Great location right in the city centre next to the main square and to the tramway line that connects with the airport. Very reasonable price and safe area at night. Check in was quick and the place was easy to find. The room was ok, bed was big and comfortable and bathroom was clean. Staff was friendly and helpful.
It's probably the best hostel of Quito for meeting other backpackers. The rooftop restaurant is affordable with a 50% discount for those who stay at the hostel and the view is magnificent. You can watch all the city and are located close to the historical centre.
Free towels, kitchen with fridge, microwave, free tea. NO free coffee but since there is a kitchen its all good :) Staff is super friendly, lots of activities. And the best thing: they have big, proper bathrooms! It’s a rather calm place, definitely the best hostel I stayed in so far. Super clean, well maintained, good Wi-Fi, fair prices, the central food market is right nearby for cheap but great breakfast and lunch! Great time and I will come back for sure once I’m back in Quito!
This is an absolutely amazing hostel! One of the best on our whole travels! So many things to rave about; the staff, the vibes, facilities, breakfast 🥰 they offer free bag storage, cheap and rapid laundry, lots of great information about getting around/ out of quito, free bananas, the list is endless and GREAT LOCATION!! Also, I had a pretty bad week in Quito, passport and id stolen and then I was ill and these guys were so supportive and kind and helped me organise lots of stressful things💗 thanks colonial house
The best thing about this hostel is the price.super cheap for what you get.but also it s not like a backpacker hostel.there is not much vibe.if you there for a night sleep,it does the job
The staff was super helpful and friendly! The location is great, walking distance to all important parts of the historic center. Hostel feels very safe, showers are hot, there's a small kitchen for the guests and you can buy water there too. The rooms are basic, but for the price it's a really fair deal (I think this might be the cheapest hostel in the area).
we came three times to this hostel as it has become our safe space in Quito. it’s very clean, the owners and volunteers are super helpful and friendly. the common area has a tv to watch Netflix. there is free water, free bananas and a kitchen. we used the laundry service which is cheap and quick. you can book tours with the hostel or take a tour at the secret garden hostel, which is just a 3min walk. perfect opportunity to enjoy local food is the mercado central, within walking distance.
