Hostel Engelberg was a great place to stay with kids. Great breakfast, great restaurant downstairs, great view of the mountains when you can see them through the clouds. Could not be more central. The owners are so friendly you could not ask for a better stay. Price to value of Hostel Engelberg cannot be beat in Switzerland - at least the parts that I have seen.

Located in Engelberg, 500 metres from the Titlis Rotair Cable Car, Engelberg Youth Hostel features a buffet restaurant and a summer terrace. A ski school and the European Walking Tours Office are reachable within a 2-minute walk. Hostel with rooms for our family of four was nicely clean, welcoming and comfortable. Town center and trail heads a short walk.

Located right on the shore of the scenic Eugenisee Lake, Pension St. Jakob is 800 metres from the centre of Engelberg and a 5-minute walk from the Engelberg Cable Car. All rooms have a balcony overlooking the mountains, and free WiFi is available. The room was nice and comfortable and the location was great. Easy walk to ski resort and town. Free parking

Set at an altitude of 2,170 metres above sea level, this hotel is in the skiing, hiking and paragliding area of Melchsee-Frutt, 2 km from the centre. The self-service restaurant features a large panoramic sun terrace and a bar. Wonderful hotel, great staff, beautiful location. Would definitely visit again during wintertime. Thank you for being so accommodating with my dog

Everything was so clean and well decorated with wood worck and art. The location is stunning in the middle of the mountain with lots of hicking trails to do. They even had some cute cats that you can pet!
