The staff at The Cumberland Riding Fool Hostel is knowledgeable about the surrounding area and maps are available for mountain biking trips. Gorgeous hostel, very clean, spacious and nicely decorated. Had everything we needed. Cute little guest garden where we sat and listened to a concert being hosted next door. Great community. Made me want to move in! I was really sad I only booked one night. Lots of interesting things to do around the place, amazing local trails, restaurants and a local museum. Highly recommend a visit to Cumberland and this hostel, it was one of my trip highlights.

Awesome campus in close proximity to the city (for people without a car busses are available). It was super clean, the room was quiet and had AC. Numerous food options on campus. I also used the laundry room and it was very straightforward and clean.

It’s got everything you need and an outstanding atmosphere! Everything was clean and the staff at the reception was super friendly and helpful.

The units at the hostel come with a seating area. At Char's Landing Hostel all rooms are equipped with bed linen and towels. Clean, safe, homely, great price, very friendly and fun. Loved the venue upstairs and sitting on the lovely verandah to have our home cooked dinners. Room was cool with a great fan on when we arrived, loads of towels and sheets etc provided. Great location, a real home from home.
