Hostel is runned by young lady, who was really nice and provided lots of information and advice. The breakfast was included and it was excellent - you have different types of fruit, 3 types of Burek, coffe, juice.. All was really tasty. The hostel is in an old part of Berat and we liked it.

The nearest airport is Tirana International Mother Teresa Airport, 119 km from the hostel. It is a great place if you need to rest and recharge. It's a one-room (4-bed) hostel so not a social atmosphere but I didn't really want that so it suited me well. Everything was new and so comfortable. Nice sheets, pillows and a new mattresses. The AC was great and the place was decorated with a lot of love, in a very cute way with Berat touches everywhere. You can tell someone put effort into how it looks! It felt like being at home since they offer small extra things like fresh towels and tea and coffee to have whenever you want - even a little sweet treat left on the bed for you. I also was able to check in early which was really nice of them.

The hostel offers an à la carte or American breakfast. Margarita is a great good-hearted woman and she is really interested in getting to know her guests. Isha the manager is a nice and gentle man. This large house is completely renovated, all is new and very well equipped. My 6-persons room was very large and cozy and the bed was very comfortable. Linens and towels are new and the house is kept perfectly clean. There is a beatiful terrace all around the house, with tables chairs and shades to sit out and eat, chat and read. Some nice views on the hills around. There are two large bathrooms with showers and a kitchen where is possible to prepare quick meals. The house is in a very quiet and safe area about 20 minute walk from the center. This is an opportunity to see non-touristic neighborhoods. A great experience! Thank you!
