    Friendly staff, easy check-in, great location with beach 9 min walk. Cafe just opposite for breakfast. Room spacious, clean and good facilities. The pool was a bonus. Great stay.

    Great location, helpful staff, good breakfast (we had a voucher to spend each morning, this didn't cover the total bill but if we'd of opted for a bagel and coffee each it would of). The kids loved the pool. Laundry was a bonus! Nice and quiet at night in our room. I was worried after seeing some of the reviews, but we had a wonderful stay. Yes, you pay for parking, but we factored that into our budget. Try Pizza of my heart and penny ice creamery!

    It was very clean. I stayed here in the past under different ownership and now with the new owners, It is totally different. It was very clean. Comfortable beds AND pillows. The carpets are gone, now hardwood floors. Also, it felt safe. It was in a great location and you could tell it was well cared for.

    Very cute and comfy hostel. Nice staff, very clean. Great location-only a few steps to the wharf, the beach and the downtown. Cute little city Santa Cruz is, just like the hostel.
