Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
The location was perfect, and the valet guys were very friendly. We felt safe knowing only hotel guests could enter the hotel and use the elevator with their room key.
I expected the Econologde to be a cheap motel, but it was quite comfortable and clean. The room was as good as any other hotel, with great AC and comfortable beds. While obviously not in dt pittsburgh, for what it is, its in a great location, especially having a full stocked gas station right next door.
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Room was spacious, we went with 3 people and our room had 2 queensize beds, we slept comfortably.
Location is great, we went by car so it was easy for us to visit places such as the Duquesne incline and Andy Warhol museum.
The staff was very hospitable and made us feel welcomed. Elan is very attentive and friendly, we felt safe.
The price we paid for our stay is pretty cheap.
Great location downtown Pittsburgh! I booked this hotel based on reviews and location to the Paints arena. It was a very short, safe & easy walk to the arena. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast that was included was simple & decent, nice perk for happy hour buffet food & drink. The room was a good size with a very high ceiling about 10-12ft high which makes it feel spacious. The hotel has a clean indoor pool (8th floor) & has an outdoor patio on the same floor which is a really nice feature.
