This is such a great hostel for those who don't like party hostels. It's quiet, close to the beach and it has a lot of showers and toilets as well. Everything is clean, although bedding and towels can be a bit worn down. The hostel also has a reading nook with books and boardgames. Loved the laundry service too, 40 baht per kilo! Staff is incredibly friendly too and helps you with everything!

It was a basic hotel, nothing fancy but it had all the necessities and everything worked. They gave me a not garden view room first and when I asked they said they will change it tomorrow. Next morning I could change as promised. I was there for 20 days so for me it mattered. The garden view was only a small window but it made a difference.
The staff was wonderful! They sent a mini tuktuk to pick me up from the pier, for a small price. The same tuktuk was available for going to Ao Nang or anything else nearby. Price was fair.
The smiling helpful staff can make a big difference to your stay and Nemo House had the best. I can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.
It was about 15 minutes easy walk to the pier (not AO Nang, that needed tuktuk ride) but to Nopparat Thara.
There were lots of food options in easy walking distance, the best fruit shop only a 5 minute walk. A 7-11 nearby and ATM etc. Easy place to live.
Boasting a mountain backdrop, Glur Hostel is located in a peaceful area in Aonang. A 15-minute walk from the beach, it features an outdoor common area with a 42-inch flat-screen TV and DVD player.
Located 1.2 km from Nopparat Thara Beach, iRest Ao Nang offers air-conditioned private and dormitory accommodation. Guests can approach the on-site tour desk for trip arrangement.
Amorn Mansion is located just a 10-minute walk from the Ao Nang Beach and a 20-minute walk from Noppharat Thara Beach. It features contemporary Thai rooms with free Wi-Fi access.
K-Bunk Hostel has a shared lounge, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Ao Nang Beach. The property is set 2 km from Ao Nang Beach, 2.4 km from Pai Plong Beach and 4.4 km from Ao Nang Krabi Boxing...

Also, everything was perfectly clean
Thanks again everyone!
Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
Hostel hosted a lot of activities - something different every night we did a quiz night on our one night hot stay which was really fun. They organise boat trips, climbing and activities which are cheaper than if you are to book them elsewhere. The staff made it very entertaining. Pool was open till 10pm which was also fun. Perfect for young travellers - we travelled as a couple but noticed it’s great for solo travellers. Hostel had a balcony which was nice.
Comfy, loads of space and awesome balcony. Shared space with hostels so privacy with option to engage with other backpackers. Quiet because up hill. Good AC, towels, fridge, shelving/hanging/vanity mirror set up. I loved walking up the stairs forward of cold showers (but also good hot water) but be aware if heavy bags or no cardio, it’s a challenge. Nearby loads of restaurants and shops.
Very cute spot by Railay beach with pretty views and good cheap food. The common areas are ideal for a morning coffee and the vibe was great with both backpackers and families. We appreciated that they made very clear it was not a party hostel kind of place, unlike some places nearby. The room with AC was cozy, clean and comfortable. Many comments I had read complaint about the steps to go up to it but this wasn't a big deal, especially given the cool system they have to bring up the luggage.
great location with beautiful overlook of the water. The pool is shared with a nearby hostel, so the clientele is mostly young backpackers. That said, I didn't find it too loud and found the staff to be extremely helpful/friendly. The stairs to get to the hotel are a lot, but you get used to them and you can't beat being in Railay at this price.
Nice reasonably affordable hostel. Located at the outskirts of Railay. Staff is super friendly and it comes with a nice swimming pool. Lockers under the bed are nicely spacious
Consider that it is a youth hostel, meaning many roommates go for the parties and get back late night. If you are there for climbing, you might consider alternatives.
I had stayed this property during my visit to Railay and it was one of the best hostel i came across. The property is really nice located in great location. view from the hostel was just amazing. Friendly staffs and great stay.
the staff is very helpful and friendly. their cafe has the best cliff view ever in railay east. and super cheap. so if you are travelling on a budget, this is where you go to. but you need to climb up the stairs, so pack light. their breakfast is 100 bhats inclusive of coffee/tea. the staff is very sweet and I met many nice backpackers there.
great location, also great way of meeting people. Fun and lively hostel
