Exceptional place! A small hostel in a very convenient place, super clean with all the amenities needed. Couldn't recommend this place more. Kudos to the guy working at the reception, he was super friendly and helpful. Upon the arrival, I didn't get the bed I wanted, so the receptionist offered me to stay in another room for no extra charge and I was alone in the entire room! Also he gave directions how to reach airport and city center. Everything was perfect. Would love to come back :)

An exceptionally clean and friendly hostel. There is a regular and cheap bus service into the city centre although it is only a 30 minute walk. The owner is a fantastic guy who does everything possible to make your stay enjoyable and memorable. There are plenty of places to eat within 5-10 minutes walk. The pods are air conditioned, comfortable and clean. All bedding and a towel are provided and access is through the use of QR codes sent to your mobile in advance. It all works seamlessly.

Location was a big 10, being in the center of Ljubljana was a big thing. The room was spatious for all the people staying there, it was very equiped even with a cooking station. The lockers inside the room were a plus for the night.

At least the night I stayed there, this seemed to be one of those hostels where travelers can make contact, exchange stories and tips and even plan excursions together very easily, very naturally. Perhaps that is because the place is small and doesn't feel highly organized or professional--in other words, it feels relaxed and informal and homey. The really professional places sometimes seem to have environments less conducive to socializing. So while I might not want to stay here a full week, I wouldn't have minded staying here a few more nights--I cannot say the same of the other, much more professional hostel in which I stayed for 1 night in Ljubljana. And if I ever visit Ljubljana again, I will definitely check to see if Buza House is an option.
