An exceptional mountain hut situated at the top of the Vršič Pass (1600 m).
It's the perfect base for hiking and climbing in the area.
The beds are super comfortable and we had a great view of the mountains from our room.
The staff are super warm, friendly, helpful and accommodating and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and at home.
The restaurant food and breakfast buffet are absolutely delicious and the homemade bread is out of this world!
There is a great selection of drinks and a great atmosphere in the restaurant/bar in the evenings where you get the chance to meet and chat with other mountain enthusiasts.
We will definitely be back!

Excellent place to stay in Mojstrana. The only thing is you need to call a lady to get a code to enter as every door is digitally locked. There is a bike room for safe bicycle parking. There is only one restaurant that was open on Sunday, but it was local and food was tasty there... The bathrooms were very clean. Best place, highly recommended.

The hosts' hospitality and helpfulness make it feel like staying at home. Everything was spotlessly clean. The kitchen is very well equiped with free cofee and tea wich is a bonus. The bed was comfortable. The garden by the river with garden chairs and a hammock is a peaceful paradise. The location is very convenient for visiting Vintgar Gorge on foot, but also close enough to Bled Lake. I will definitely stay again.

This place was a great find! Smart, clean, inexpensive hostel with an excellent brewery and friendly bar staff. What's not to like??!!! We were walking the Juliana Trail and the day was hot, so we needed some of the fantastic beers pretty urgently on arrival! The room was simple, but it and the shared bathroom were both scrupulously clean, and very comfortable. Incidentally we found a really nice little bakery open at 05.30 just 200m from the hostel - perfect for a fresh pastry to get some fuel in the tank for a good day's walking :)
Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Very nice modern light design of the apartment, the owner Jurij was very kind and let us store our bikes safely, great location in the centre of KG, 150 m to supermarket and just 20 m to pedestrian zone with restaurants and shops (do not be afraid to come to the parking space next to the house slowly through the pedestrian zone)

We stayed at the youth hostel while travelling through Slovenië. The hostess, Biba, is super kind and welcoming. She gave us tips on various adventures in the neighbourhood, which were all beautiful. In the area you can hike to Martuljek waterfall, mountainbike to mountain home Tamar, or bike to Lago di Fusine. We would highly recommend.

Nice apartment with everything you need for a long stay. It has a great location for hiking and cycling in summer and for skiing in winter. Just a few minutes' walk to the supermarket, restaurants and bars. Nice views overlooking some gardens and mountains. Quite easy to park nearby (after buying a very cheap multiday ticket).
It's a typical hostel, but with the exception that most rooms seem to be 2-4 beds and not an open dormitory. There's plenty of restaurants nearby (1-2km kind of nearby) and some facilities to prepare food. One toilet per floor which also has a shower in it. The toilets seem to have been renovated somewhat recently.
