Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
I was pleasantly surprised by the hostel. Rooms have 2 bunk beds each and I was lucky enough to have the whole room for myself, and a balcony with a river view. It was quiet enough for a youth hostel. Didn't have a big choice for breakfast but it was good enough.
The view is amazing, the person who greeted us was friendly and super helpful. The room was light and modern. The facilities were fantastic. The best hostel on the Camino !
Great location, right on the Camino. Great for solo travel. Good selection of meals to buy from the freezer. Also, wine, beer and water. I used the laundry service too. The young guy on reception was great. Nothing too much trouble. An asset to the hostel.
Cool garden, sense of privacy as the bunk beds were sectioned off with a room divider (although we got lucky and had the whole place to ourselves). The day we were there, there was just one restaurant open nearby but there's a kitchen in the hostel (be careful walking to the local restaurant at night, as walking along the dark road with cars driving past at speed is dangerous- maybe bring a torch or phone so you're visible)
The best hostel where I've rested during my Camino. The size of the bed is huge so you can have a very comfy sleep. The rooms are shared with no more than 8 people and they all face on a nice terrace. Everything is modern and tidy. The position is amazing: the hostel is set just next to the church that dominate the city, one of the best panoramic views of the Camino.
Perfect place as a hostel. A huge room with separate beds (no bunk beds). Clean bed sheets, clean floor, no bad smell. We were also provided with towels and warm blankets. The bathroom is very nice and clean. The kitchen is modern with a coffee machine, a fridge, a kettle, an oven, and a stove.
We arrived quite late. But earlier we received a call for the eta confirmation, so it wasn't a problem.
The private bunk beds are excellent - especially if you have the top bunk. It is quiet, geared up well for pilgrims. Washing machine, great showers, pool are all perks. The small village has a nice cafe and restaurant that are cheap and friendly. Small kitchen was available too.
It is a youth hostel build with individual rooms. Good architecture. Spacious place. Breakfast is a basic breakfast like in any other youth hostel. But OK. The place is not expensive. Great location in a nice cozy town.
