The staff were really welcoming and even though there was a language barrier, google translate helped and made it personal.
The building has so much character, and was beyond clean, it was immaculate!!
It had a communal kitchen where you could leave items in the fridge, make coffee, etc - really useful to have.
The communication with the property before arrived was brilliant, I requested a iron/ironing board and hairdryer (we were going to a wedding) and the staff had it ready and waiting for us when we arrived.
Really quiet at night, so perfect nights sleep and easy access to the accommodation by key fob.
Right in the centre of the old town of Tomar and a short walk to the train station.
We would definitely stay here again!!!

Very good location, the rooms were really spacious, with beautiful vintage furniture. Everything was spotless, super clean. The staff was really nice, specially Luís Agudo, who took the time to explain the history of the place. A place to come back to, for sure.

We liked everything. Let me start by saying that Paulo is an amazing host, it is very rare to meet someone who is very detailed oriented. He was genuinely willing to help us.
Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
We rented two properties, one was like traveling through a time tunnel and seeing how a rural family once lived in a house . made of wood and stone. The properties are very old with old furniture. interesting experience. The price is of course very cheap which is a big advantage for those who are interested in saving
Great location and great, modern and clean hostel. The private room I had was very spacious. The owner was really friendly and helpful with everything I needed e.g. helping me book train tickets and arranging taxis to the station. Was a good place to meet other pilgrims. Had a nice outside space and communal area for socialising.

Right in the main square, no car needed. We had a car, and parking is available two minutes from the flat, €6 for the day. Jolly easy and cheap.
Staff was super nice. Dorm, bathroom and kitchen were clean and spacious. Best lockers I've ever seen, where I could even store my small trolley AND daypack. Breakfast was also great.

Excellent location, fantastic views, short stroll through parkland from the centre of town. Excellent choice of restaurants in town, we didn't have evening meal at hotel on this occasion as we knew of a lovely italian restaurant in the town. Hand sanitizer everywhere, very clean public areas, room very clean. Good Covid precautions in place for buffet breakfast. Plenty of safe off road parking. Brilliant hotel for visiting Tomar, very interesting town, amazing convent and castle, very cheap entry fee.
