Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

One of the best hostels I've ever been to!! I highly recommend it if you are planning to visit maideira on your own. Convenient parking in front of the structure, breathtaking view, possibility of meeting lots of guys, very well equipped kitchen and bathrooms, really well managed! Excellent location near Sao Vincente, with shops and restaurants on the street

Cozy little hostel, the owner was really nice and helpful, the kitchen was really well equiped, it had everytnig you needed and more. It was a pleasent stay if don't mind having room with only curtain, no doors. It did have a locker but I never used it, it was safe to leave your stuff in the room.

It was probably the best hostel I stayed in during my whole lifetime. Tiny as it is, it gives you both a sense of community (if wanted) and privacy. The rooms are single. The kitchen is huge and well equipped; there are usually some fruit and cereal for free, even if not advertised in the hostel description. The owners take care of the visitors and the property itself so nicely that I felt right at home. Last but not least, the sound of the ocean when you wake up and go to bed is just priceless.

Perhaps the best hostel I've been to: common spacese very cosy and well-equipped, a spectacular close view on the ocean, basically private rooms, albeit no real doors just curtains and the ocean-looking windows open from the common space.

The host, Celio is an absolute legend, very welcoming and easy to chat to. Probably the best hostel for a sundowner and chilled vibe on the ocean but car rental would be advised.
