I am not young. I am not a surfer.
Therefore, I would especially like to emphasize the cordial and inclusive reception of me by the young hosts and guests and their acceptance of me as a member of the community. A place "with soul".
Sagres Natura Surf Camp is located near the Sagres centre, in a quiet park inserted in the Southwest Alentejo and Costa Vicentina Natural Park. This relaxed accommodation offers free WiFi.

I just loved the whole experience! I booked my stay and also surf lessons. I received way more than I expected: the friendly and caring staff and volunteers, the open spaces, the food, the social activities, the surf explanations! It was amazing ;D

Super comfy beds, I slept brilliantly! Everything was very clean yet cosy. Quite sociable for a small hostel and felt friendly and relaxed. The kitchen was well stocked and had 'free food' shelves in the fridge and cupboard to leave/take unwanted food. Gorgeous patio with so many birds!! The rooms and bathrooms were a good size. I stayed here during the Fisherman's Trail and would definitely recommend!!

The rooftop and the kitchen were really amazing to enjoy your food at the sunset and sunrise, or simply relax and enjoy a book.
The bathrooms were very nice, with a private toilet and shower in each compartment.
There was also a place to wash your clothes.
The location is just in the center of the small village, with grocery shop and restaurants/bars nearby.
Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
I spent a week in this charming hostel. I loved the atmosphere. It is a small hostel and therefore very familiar. Suitable for solo travelers. You get to know a lot of new people. Luckily it's not a party hostel - I didn't want that.
Everything is very clean and tidy.
The owners and volunteers were very friendly and helpful.
There is a supermarket right next to the hostel, which was very convenient.
The surfing lessons at the surf school were also great – competent teachers.
I will come again. 😊
Loved staying at this hostel. The love to detail in the way it's furnished shows that there was someone thinking about comfortability and social engagements. The staff was amazing, very friendly and always trying to help with problems and ideas.
You can always request the hot tub for free. That was the best hostel I ever stayed in!
A beautiful place in an amazing town!! One of the best hostels I have ever stayed in. Great people, facilities and a great vibe. Beds were comfy and the hostel was quiet enough at night to get a good sleep too. The facilities/ bathrooms were all kept clean and staff were always on hand if I had any questions. Would definitely stay here again if I am back in Sagres.
My stay at this hostel was simply incredible. The atmosphere was vibrant and cosy, which made meeting new people a fantastic experience. The cleanliness in all areas of the hostel guaranteed a comfortable and healthy atmosphere. The facilities were very well equipped, from the large common areas to the comfortable and well-designed rooms!
It's a really nice and comfortable place to stay at :) I already regret that I left and want to go back :D the guests and the hosts are all really kind... it's a very calm and quiet place but still very easy to get in contact with other travellers :) I think for me it's the best hostel in Portugal so far! But don't come here if you want to party :D come to relax and enjoy the very calm atmosphere :)
Great location, but very low maintained room. The doors of the shower almost fell out, the room smelled like a smokers family lived there for 10 years and the curtains had mold on them.
Still a cheap room in the center of Sagres. New curtains and a shower would do miracles to the room.
The lighthouse is a really chill place with a lot of a vibe! Also the equipment they have is really good (kitchen/ cheap surf rental) and nice staff !! :)
I would definitely recommend to stay there!! For me it was probably one of the best hostels I stayed in, in a while :)
It’s not bad, but I would recommend having more hooks in the bathroom because otherwise you can’t really hang your towel/clothes anywhere…
The best hostel I have ever been to!
Pool, breakfast, cheap drinks at the bar, nice rooms, good price, everything was great.
Thank's going out to Kim for his great hospitality!
