This was an amazing stay!, The place was very easy to find, I got a really nice room that I didn't expect from a hostel. The place is like a 3 star hotel the bed is very comfortable, In the room I got there was a small shower roomIn the room I got there was a small shower room. Plenty of light and out it out in the main room boom all facilities were available Including a dining area. The place is right on the boardwalk plenty of free parking right next to the hostel. Owner was very welcoming and helpful. This place really changed the way I think about hostels. Highly recommended both For singel travelers, couples or even families. It's a 5 minute walk from the beach there are plenty of restaurants and places to walk around nearby.

I loved everything about the place and the owner. The place is very well located, very close to the center and the beach. Beds are very comfortable, the kitchen has all you need, the bathroom is always clean, and the dorm area is very big. There is everything you'd expect from a hostel, plus a great host (thanks again Miguel!) And a pool ready to greet you whenever you need to chill. I met great people there, and I will definitely visit the place again, maybe next time for the metal festival Miguel mentioned :)

We do not normally book rooms with shared bathrooms and hadn't realised that this was the situation when we arrived so were a bit apprehensive as we had a bad experience in the past when we were walking the West Highland Way. However the shared facilities were spotlessly clean and easily accessible and with two bathrooms always available so overall did not detract from our stay and the shower was good with plenty hot water. The rooms and beds were very comfortable and there was a large common kitchen and sitting room for the use of guests

The host was very helpful, gave us a lot of information about the city and neighbouring areas. He even gave us a larger room because we were travelling with a small child. The hotel itself is very warm and cozy. It is not the newest, but very well maintained and clean. We visited during the weekend so the street parking was free and it was easy to find a parking spot next to the hotel. And this was just a one night stop for us on a trip around portugal, and we really enjoyed staying in Aveiro as it has very small, clean and beautiful old town.
