The room we received was squeaky clean and quite spacious (for a hostel). Since the room faced an alley, it was also very calm. The host was very friendly and told us about exciting things to do in Coimbra (we arrived during the Santa Reinha festival). With three very clean bathrooms on our floor, we virtually never waited to use them. Also, we noticed that the staff cleaned the bathroom and tidied up our rooms everyday. There was also a well equipped and clean kitchen at our disposal, even though we didn't use it. Location is perfect, literally 5 minutes from the train station and another 5 minutes to city centre. Would definitely recommend this lovely gem!

Great price/value ratio for the location of this hostel in the center of Coimbra. I stayed in a 2-bed "dorm" room with a bunk bed, it was a bit humid but otherwise fine. Lots of space in the kitchen / living room next to the reception, and helpful staff.

Unfortunately it's not in a great location, photos mislead a bit, but if I owned the place I also wouldn't focus on the surroundings so I don't blame them. Extremely comfortable beds. I could suggest a way better interior designer, as the areas that have been newly decorated are cheap in taste which is a huge pitty, that kind of structure deserves so much more. Generous nice breakfast. Friendly staff. All in all, I enjoyed my stay.

Not the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in, not the worst. Rooms were neat and tidy, bathrooms could have been cleaner but nothing horrendous. Some staff were super friendly and helpful, others not so much. Guess it all depends on the day. Great location though!

Great location, comfy beds and kind staff. I was in a room for 10 people at the (sort of like) attic, but since it wasn't full, I slept in peace and undisturbed for straight 9 hours. One of the best hostels I've stayed at!

Perfect location but not noisy, nice staff, locker with key and place to charge just next to every bed. It's nice to have a single bed in the dorm instead of bunk beds. For me the best hostel in coimbra
