Amazing guesthouse, the host could not have been more helpful and it was great value for money. My backpack was broken and the host went above and beyond and asked his friend to fix it for me, which they did!

The place was clean, even if you chose the shared bathroom, it's all good! And I really love the retro and vintage style, hope the owner will maintain the place well. :)

BRICKS Cameron Hostel, hotel in Tanah Rata

BRICKS Cameron Hostel features accommodation in Tanah Rata. Among the facilities at this property are a shared kitchen and a shared lounge, along with free WiFi throughout the property.

Very good location, close to the street with restaurants and shops, market, bus station and self-service laundry. Comfortable room, comfortable bed. Clean. Shared bathroom, shampoo, soap, towel available. Kitchenette available. Nice and helpful crew. Ordered tour to Misty Forest good for the conditions at that time (i.e. almost everything in Misty Forest closed), i.e. the only option to see Misty Forest even in such a defective form. Very good guide, local Indian, with great knowledge and interesting information not only about Misty Forest but also about tea plantations and the town in general.

One of the places that had the most 'home-feeling' of where I've been to. Charen is such a great host who seems to be a mediator for the guests to easily connect. She knows everyone by name. The hostel is like a very big room with tables and a kitchen, and bunk beds, separated by walls. Therefore it doesn't feel as if you sleep with 10 people, but rather with 2 or 4. Good beds and enough space in the bunk.

Best hostel ever. I stayed there for 4 nights (extended my trip), and everything was so great. It is super clean (they clean and mop every single day), the bed and the blanket are so comfy, the common area is very nice. People working here are very nice and helpful, special mention to Bella who is always smiling ! Everything next to the hostel : the markets, 7-Eleven, hiking trails. I would definitely come back.

We really enjoyed our stay at Bricks. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The hostel is in a great location, walking distance from the bus station and the main street. The staff were really helpful and provide extra information on treks.

Basic hostel for backpackers. Really cheap. Sleep pod was comfortable and comforter provided. Fan in the pods really helped since there's no AC. Lockers provided and plenty of room for my stuff. Kitchen/dishes provided. Free water. Felt safe and secure for a female solo traveler. Surprisingly quiet for a hostel, not a lot of socializing. Half day tour set up by the hostel was really awesome. Located in the middle of Tanah Rata and a 5-10 minute walk from the bus station.
