Location is awesome, very close to the Dalai Lama temple, but property is facing the quiet side of the street, so you don’t get the noise from busy temple road. Easily for me to visit temple and kora walk everyday. The female dorm I was in was spacious and clean, they’ll come and clean everyday and make sure we are all comfortable. Staffs have been super friendly and helpful. There is rooftop area you can chill and hangout with people from the hostel. I got too comfy, I only booked for one night but ended up staying for five nights.

perfect choice if you’re wanting to stay in mecleodganj. close enough to the action, but set a easy couple of minutes walk to the Main Street so it’s pretty peaceful. epic views from the rooftop and the private room was perfect. the staff there are also great!

When I arrived to Mitra Hostel I got sick, so I ended up spending multiples days there resting and getting better. I got so lucky to be sick in this Hostel. The Owner and the Staff are so kind and brought me food to the room and checked via WhatsApp if I need anything or if they can do anything for me. Thank You so much Guys!! Met some really lovely people there too. Just a great Hostel with a good vibe and even better people. Hope to visit sometime again!

We were looking for that hostel vibe and we found a premium version of it. At first we booked 2 nights and we ended up staying for a week. And this was mostly because of Nishant. He makes you feel like you are at home and he helps with everything there. You really feel like you have a friend there that you can count on 😊. The beds are comfy and even though it might get a bit cold you receive some very fluffy blankets which keep you very warm during the night. Plus given that the location is in the mountains, you get all that fresh air and beautiful scenery.
