I loved my stay at Young Mong so much that I extended for another 7 nights. It's on top of a hill surrounded by nature, it's quiet. It's very close to Triund trail and Galu waterfalls trail. Food is amazing, owner is a great person and the whole hostel makes you feel like a part of a family.

My stay at Live Free Hostel was just amazing!!!! The property itself is located super close to Dalai Lama Temple and only 10 minutes away by walk to the city center. It is very clean, a great places to rest properly after some rough trips in the mountains and it has a wonderful view from the rooftop. However, the best thing about this hostel is the people who work there (especially the manager called Afdal)!!!!! So welcoming, respectful and always willing to help you in everything you might need. A big thumbs up for him!!! When I arrived in Live Free Hostel, suddenly we noticed it was a problem with my reservation since the dorm I booked it was already full. As as said before Afdal is a truly gem, he is the best guy ever!!!!! As soon as he realized the problem, he gave me a private room without any extra charge. Moreover, the last day they prepared some food for me in order to have something to eat during my next bus trip. He even took me to Dharmashala Bus Stand on his motorbike very early in the morning to catch the bus. I'm so happy that I met such amazing people in this hostel. It's 100% recommended!!!

One of those hostels that you book for 2 days, but stay for 9. Truly wondeful guy running the hostel, fun bonfires at night with everyone, hot water and warm blankets. I had a really great stay, easy 10!

10/10 - The Hosteller is a fantastic place to stay. The rooms are clean, comfortable and well laid out each bed has a cosy duvet to keep you warm at night. The hostel is set in lovely grounds with trees, birds and butterflies as your neighbours and clean fresh air to breath. The best thing about the hostel is the wonderful manager Gaurav and staff, especially Krati. I got sick during my stay (nothing to do with the hostel) and the staff have gone over and above to make me feel safe and comfortable. Every day Gaurav checks on me with a warm smile and finds a way to make me laugh which brightens my day. Krati has looked after me like family accompanying me to the medical centre to ensure I got the treatment I needed. These acts of kindness far exceed anything I would expect from a hostel. I will never forget my stay here at Hosteller it has renewed my faith in humanity.
