Dreamwoods is a beautiful place in the midst of nature quite close to dhramasala but far enough so you feel a totally different vibe. although i didn't spend a lot of time roaming around the property and sitting at the cute cafe that they have because it was offseason monsoon season, i was impressed with everything i saw. adarsh the owner and anu take care of every need and there is a real friendly and family-like atmosphere which is quite rare these days in hostels, plus they cook amazing indian food. overall a great experience and definitely recommended to those who look for something a bit different away from the hustle and bustle of dharamsala

We really loved our stay there. The area is very calm and surrounded by beautiful landscape. Rooms are basic but the price is very fair. Terrace is amazing and restaurant has great food and fair prices. Perfect place to go and relax and perhaps hike a little bit.

My stay at Hobo Hostel was excellent. The rooms/ bathrooms were clean and hygenic (to Western standards) and, in my opinion, very good value for money. The staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough for you. The food served was wholesome, organic, and homemade (also locally sourced and seasonal). There was fresh drinking water available 24/7 in the communal area, which was great and also meant I could fill up my steel flask, which saved plastic pollution. The location was great as it was close enough to travel into Dharamshala and McLeod Ganj for day trips but far enough away to relax and unwind at the end of the day. The local village was also very welcoming, I was a solo traveller walking around at night alone, and not once did I feel unsafe. The scenery was beautiful, and there were various trekking options available from Hobos' own qualified mountain guide. There is also a river running within walking distance of the property, which I used for meditation and cold water immersion in the mornings. Overall, I had a perfect stay and would definitely come back. Id recommended Hobo Hostel to any traveller wanting a peaceful stay in a beautiful village setting.

Arriving at the property under the veil of night, I was greeted by the graciousness of Ms. Sadhu, the esteemed owner of the hostel, who swiftly arranged for her dedicated employees to extend their helping hands, despite the late hour. Throughout my stay, these two gentlemen were beacons of assistance, ensuring my comfort and well-being until my departure. Nestled in an enviable location, the property boasted not only convenience but also a level of service that exceeded expectations, leaving me thoroughly impressed. My gratitude extends to the employees for their outstanding dedication and warm hospitality. Although my schedule limited my time at Vibe Hostel, I eagerly look forward to returning, knowing that a haven of exceptional service and comfort awaits my next visit.
