Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
Great location for a stay in Aegina. All healthy people can walk to the location from the harbour dragging their luggage with them as we did. The hotel is simple but very clean and the staff was friendly and ready to assist en any way. Breakfast was good and could be enjoyed both outside and inside. We stayed two nights which I think is perfect for visiting Aegina. We hired a scooter to go up to the Temple of Aphaia which was great.
Great location close to the Aegina Town centre, very clean rooms, authentic island views and a feeling of peace and simplicity that made us very confortable during our stay.
Great location less than 10 min walk to the port and centre of town. There is a view of the archaeological site of Kolonna from the beautiful hotel garden & the slightly wild Kolonna beach is just 5 mins away. Staff were very friendly & helpful, room was clean & comfortable and the breakfast was good.
Great location across the road from sea and beach 50 metres away. Restaurants straight across the road as well. Easy walk from ferry and easy access to old town as well. owner and sons were great nothing any trouble bottle opener . They also organised a car hire for us which was cheaper than advertised rates we saw and was a good little car which we used for the day to explore the island. This is well worth doing.
Great location, Aegina has so much history and so much to see, so do yourself a favour plan a trip and stay with these guys, you won't be sorry especially if all you need is a bed to sleep on and a few basics to cook something, and the view from the balcony is worth paying for, although I would suggest eating out in Aegina, it's cheap, the food is good and the service at most places exceptional.
