On the South Downs Way, the YHA Truleigh Hill is surrounded by beautiful West Sussex countryside. The hostel is a 10-minute drive from Shoreham-by-Sea, and has a restaurant, free parking and free WiFi.

The bright and airy dormitory rooms have bunk beds, shared bathrooms and fresh linens. The YHA also features large leafy gardens and a common room with a games area.

The YHA location is superb and really good for the Wellness journey I am on. The staff are so friendly and the facilities are perfect for what you need during your stay. The walks at your disposable is exceptional regardless of the weather. You can choose to eat at the café , or have full facilities to self cater. Their is also access to a washing machine and a drying room for a very reasonable price.

Plenty of room in the dorm. Close to the beach and shops. Very clean and quiet.

Situated 5 minutes’ walk from Brighton’s seafront, city centre and pier, YHA Hostel Brighton offers en-suite rooms and a licensed bar and restaurant offers meals, bar snacks and drinks.

YHA Hostel Brighton also offers a conference/meeting room and free WiFi is available in all public areas.

I found the staff that worked there to be very helpful and accommodating. I also got a very good view from the window of my hotel room as well

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

One of the pleasant surprises. Perfect location in the nature, would be ideal for trekking. Spotless clean. Good coffee shop, serving breakfast and dinners, but very clean kitchen available as well. I put max points for comfort and facilities- yes for youth hostel. I am planning a stay with my grandchildren !!
