A beautiful property on a lovely spot on the Loch! The social activities were entertaining and Miriam made it so special by taking us for a morning swim! I would definitely come back and recommend this place to friends!

The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and were very friendly.
Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
A youth hostel full of youthful energy.
A lovely place on the shore of Loch Ness.
A bunch of young people run the place and do it quite well
The rooms are basic, the showers are excellent, the dining area is clean and overlooks the lake
Overall this is a good place to stay overnight on the Great Glen Way route
Very friendly staff, and very friendly atmosphere. The cheapest hostel beds in the Scottish Highlands, as far as I searched online. Beds are quite comfortable, and what I particularly liked about the beds were: 1) each bed has its own USB and power outlet, 2) the bed-frames are physically affixed to the walls and they don't get shaken by other person in the bunk-bed. I particularly loved #2, and it shows whoever designed the hostel knows the common concerns among hostel backpackers. I wish more hostels implement these things.
It's probably the best hostel kitchen I have ever used and seen. Plently of pots, pans, and cooking trays. There's even some communal herbs and spices to use. Ovens and stove stop aplenty. They also have some cup noodles and bits like that to buy on site.
They do offer laundry service.
Right on the loch if you are brave enough to swim and a beautiful location.
Good atmosphere, clean and nice staff/volunteers.
Best hostel I went in Scotland. The employees were so nice and friendly. I had the best time there. I was there only for one night and I wished I could have been there a little bit longer. The night I was there, the staff organized a Scottish dance night party, It was so nice. It's the best hostel to meet people.
Super comfy hostel! Stayed here for 3 nights and really enjoyed my time there! Staff was super friendly and the bed was really comfortable. Everything was clean and the shared kitchen was really good and had everything u need. Nice place for hikes and beautiful view over the Loch. Also a great place to meet new people since many hikers come here.
a fantastic hostel vibe. very traditional and great atmosphere! amazing location right in the loch, and able to even go for a dip. room was good. two of us stayed in a room with two bunk beds. it would have been tight for four people, but great for two. great socket and light at the bed.
