    Wonderful hotel, friendly staff, great location, comfy and clean room and good breakfast. There wasn't a restaurant for evening meal but we were directed 5 minutes down the road to Helmsdale and we followed one of the recommendations and ate at the Thyme and Plaice which served delicious locally sourced meals.

    We loved everything about this place. Rooms were spacious with huge en-suite modern bathroom. Beds and bedding are lovely. Cooking facilities and lounge are excellent. Tea coffee and toast were available. Location is on the NC 500 and there are shops and pubs in the village. The price is very reasonable for the quality of the hostel

    Fine for an overnight. Parking just outside, pretty cheap. Everything worked ok. It's pretty budget, but a budget place. Breakfast was very good.

    Marie was amazing! She was so attentive and helpful, she definitely goes the extra mile for the guests. You can tell she really enjoys meeting new people. I would recommend this hostel to other travellers.
