Stunning setting, great facilities, was home from home. Really useful having the shop next door too!

The rooms were spotlessly clean with a nice view. The bathrooms, even though they shared, are really clean as well. The kitchen is equipped with all the essentials. You can even buy some basic food (noodles, biscuits and eggs) by leaving money in the honesty box. There is a car park in front of the building. And most importantly, the guys who are running this place are nice, helpful and friendly.
Placed at the foot of Snowdon Mountain, the YHA Snowdon Pen-y-Pass is surrounded by stunning Welsh landscape in a rural location, with no mobile phone signal - offering guests a break from technology....

The staff were friendly and considerate, the man on check-in moved me to a room with women rather than a mixed room and they did their best at every step to make sure everyone got a good room for them. It's a great location to walk the Llanberis path up Snowdon from. There's plenty of space, the food is good. I have no bad word to say. It's a hostel-type, so if you're expecting hotel level comfort then it's not going to cut it, but as long as your expectations are sensible it's great!
Deep in the beautiful mountain scenery of north Wales, YHA Snowdon Llanberis is set on the doorstep of the Snowdonia National Park.

The hostel is in a great location, perfect for exploring Snowdonia and especially Llyn Pedarn. The facilities are very good and the drying room excellent. The views superb.
Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
Location excellent inside the castle walls, stones throw from sea!
Accommodation more for young backpackers, although the shared toilet & showers we're very clean👍
Unfortunately tv had no signal in our room, not a biggie though when your in a lovely location.
Breakfast was included in the price, full English or cereals etc, waitress lovely lady👍
All in all cheap little get away!👍😎😎
Great location a few minutes' walk from town centre, and Caernarfon also handy for Anglesey, Portmeirion, etc. House was comfy and generally very clean, easy to feel at home. There were only two of us staying but even though the house had plenty of room for more people it didn't feel like it was TOO big for us. Access via keysafe box made it easy to check in and out while also making it easy for one of us to go out while the other stayed in. Would definitely stay again if back in Caernarfon.
Amazing hostel at a great location. Super friendly host, lovely room with an amazing bed and a great view. Really cozy bathroom. Had a lovely evening stroll along the city walls just next to the hostel.
Great location, quirky and cosy Lodge. Secluded and safe but excellent base to explore. Local pub had tasty food and friendly atmosphere. Great for self catering as had oven, grill, microwave etc. In beautiful scenic land. Friendly and helpful host. It was a bit chilly but we had 2 heaters and electric blanket for bed heating.
Freshly refurbished rooms with new bathrooms.
My friend who travels a lot around the world and stay in a lot of hostels said, I quote: "This is one of the best hostels I've stayed in". Great facilities, great location.
Friendly Staff that were happy to help. Great location with plenty of shops and restaurant within walking distance.
Was perfect for what we needed. Great Hostel for climbers wanting cheap accommodation.
