Great hostel to explore Pembrokeshire from. Very good kitchen to self cater. Had a room to ourselves by chance which adds to the positive experience.

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

Great location and very friendly and helpful staff. I thought it might be overrun with noisy schoolchildren but it was very quiet.

A lovely room with excellent facilities and a great sea view. A really friendly host who was only too happy to recommend where to go. A great location for exploring the area and only a short walk to the beach, restaurants and pub. A tasty breakfast to set you up for the day. Highly recommended.

This was our second stay at Timber Hill and I would highly recommend to any families looking for a getaway. The location is fantastic, a great base for exploring the area and ideal for the boys to do their very own exploring within a safe, secluded space. The on-site games room was also a hit!

The good bits certainly out way the not so good bit. Great location, a delightful little cottage a stones throw from the beach. Very clean with plenty of space, comfortable furniture which gives you a cosy feel, so much so that we would return. 😁 Excellent service from the handyman, who was chatty and gave us some great information about the area.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We ate dinner and breakfast at the hostel and thought both were great especially especially as you get a meal for an under 10 free when you buy an adult meal. There was also some live music on the evening we stayed which was great.
