I always like the ibis budget because you get a lot for a cheap price. The staff was very friendly and spoke english and they were helpful in storing my bike as well.

if you can see your way past the terrible brown paint, this place is very good. The room was comfy, the staff were very helpful and the breakfast exceptionally good for a budget hotel. For a traveller’s one-night stay, the hotel is extremely well-placed on the edge of town. A couple of minutes’ walk away is a very good all-you-can-eat Chineses buffet, and there is a large supermarket with cheap petrol close by. I would definitely use this place again.

The hotel is very well located for visiting Poitiers, right opposite the station and on a main route through town. There is cheap parking just across the road at Parking Tournai. Although it's just outside the old city walls, you can walk to the centre in about 20 minutes. It is a budget hotel, so don't expect large luxurious rooms, but its good value and very comfortable with clean minimalist rooms, our room was very quiet and we got a good night's sleep which is the most important thing.

The location was good for people traveling by train as just next to the train station. For people travelling by car the hotel has limited spaces. There’s a car park opposite to it which is cheap but is too hidden so we didn’t feel safe leaving the car overnight there. The staff was very polite and the rooms were clean and spacious.
