Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
Great location, it was a last minute booking as I discovered my intended booking was unsafe, with a leaking roof on level 5, and a lift that was experiencing some difficulties. We saw the water leaking, and quickly decided to try our luck elsewhere, thankfully the compact, but wonderfully located apartment was available, and I slept soundly with confidence. Wonderful quick communication with staff. Great air conditioning too.
Great location, 10 minute walk to the lake and old town. Felt safe, secure in a quiet neighbourhood. It was very clean with comfortable beds and pillows.
We booked on the same day (in fact less than an hour before we arrived) and had instructions straight away which was impressive!
period property in great location next to old Annoy so perfect for access to shops, restaurants, canal, lake. Staff friendly and helpful. Room clean and comfortable although a bit on small side. That said Annecy not a cheap option for accommodation so close to centre so this hotel represents good value for money particularly given location
Breakfast was included, staff polite. Dormitory had shower in the room (but water was coming out from the knob and too little from the shower-head). Safe storage for bike and luggage storage.
The cheapest accommodation that I could find. Would recommend if you’re on a budget.
A nice lounge area.
The view from the hostel terrace was stunning.
