Great location, 10min walk to the castle, even closer to market area and many restaurants and cafes close by. Clean apartment with all necessary things available. Linen and towels included.
We very much appreciated the cleanliness of the room and the bed linen, including towels. Optimal for a stay when you are driving around and need to sleep. The plus is the breakfast and the very exceptionally pleasant staff of the hostel.
Our hostess was really friendly, caring and thoughtful! The apartment is at a great location, close to everything in the centre, while still being tranquil and relaxing. It's also very well equipped with everything we need, and the hostess even kindly provided us with milk, coffee, sparkling water, etc. The tablewares are beautiful Marimekko and Moomin ones, what a positive surprise! The bed is very comfortable, and the living room is spacious.
This hotel is just a couple of minutes walk from the train station which was really great. It was nice and clean, safe for a solo traveller, and also a handy walking distance location from the castle and a couple of other nice walking locations. The breakfast choices were good and the 12noon check-out time was very welcome!
Amazing place, I wouldn't hesitate to book my stay here were I to come back to Savonlinna.
