All the installations are new and in good condition. Beds have curtains which guarantee quite some privacy for a hostel. It's located near the beach, surf school and a supermarket, which is very convenient. Also the staff working there are super nice :)

I was greeted by the extremely friendly owner. We had a nice chat about the time he lived and worked in Dalkey Co Dublin. He then explained all about the hostel and gave me my set of keys. One key for the outside door from the street, one to enter the hostel which is on the second floor and the other for my personal locker in the bedroom. I shared an 8 bed female dorm. Room is very large with high ceilings so it never felt cramped. We were told not to put our bags on the bed for hygiene reasons which shows how much he cares about cleanliness. Outside each bedroom are large benches with a shelf underneath where people can leave their shoes and socks and can also get organised if on the Camino and leaving very early in the morning. This is such a good idea. Each bed has a night light and 2 usb charging points. My charging points did not work but I was able to use the plug for the night light. Showers and toilets were nice and clean and I never had any problems waiting for a shower. The kitchen and common area is open from 8am to 11pm and is so comfy and welcoming. The decor is amazing and it takes about 2 days to take in all the posters and ornaments. There is even a PS2 for people to play. Fridge is big enough for everyone’s food and the cooker is very large. There is a large supermarket just underneath the hostel. Everything (pots pans and utensils) that you require to cook a nice meal it there. I loved the comfy couches and the beanbags where you can sit and relax. There are plenty of charging points in the lounge area. There is free tea and coffee available all day but breakfast is not included. The hostel is a 5 min walk to all the restaurants bars and shopping areas, a 30 minute walk to a beautiful beach and right beside the bus and train stations.

Really good surf house with all you need for a perfect stay! Big confy beds with outlets and lamps and curtains gives you both privacy, confort and enough space for your things. Showers and toilets are clean. The spot is walking distance to the beach. Possibility to both rent surfboards or taking lessons, I tried both. Staff surper friendly and helpful. I've been to at least 20 surfcamps and this is my top 3!

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
Great location and parking. All staff were polite and friendly from the reception to the bar staff and the kitchen staff were really nice 🙂. The air-conditioning was good and quite.
The apartment itself was lovely-bright and spacious (for a 1 bed apartment). The bathroom is really nice- new and clean. The washing machine is really handy and you can dry your clothes out front.
Everyone was really friendly in the apartment block, always saying hello.on the stairs etc.
It felt safe and a nice place to be.
The location is really close to the beach and some great restaurants. It is reasonably equipped (we did not cook any meals, but for snacks and a short stay it is great).
Great staff. The hostel is a big house, with garden and a common area to chill with tv. Everything is a short walking distance. Supermarket 10min walking. Town 10min walking, beach 15min. You can join then when they go all together to surf.
Breakfast was great- lots of good food and it was nice mixing with the other guests. Generally a much younger age than us ( retired) but very friendly. Great location for a overnight stay before the ferry.
Great location with a comfy and private room, with an ensuite to myself for an exceptional price! Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would go back again in a heart beat! Felt safe and secure too with multiple locked doors. 10 minute walk from the shops and about 15-20 minute walk from Latas Surf House and the beach!
