Lovely Albergue and bar/restaurant that seems to be the centre of village life. Very friendly and welcoming staff who worked very hard for all the pilgrims and villagers alike. Comfortable room to stay in and all very clean. Food was excellent and great value for money . The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and were super helpful. Highly recommend.

The host did everything for guests, she even offered to drive me to the supermarket, which is 15mins. walk. She recommended me tour to waterfalls in Ézaro, told me bus timetable. One of my nicest stays on the Camino.
Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
Clean, comfortable accommodation along the Camino Finisterre (the rout from Santiago to Fisterra).
It's a nice, family-run pilgrim hostel hosted in a traditional house in the Galician countryside.
No frills, but the individual rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the nature in the surroundings is amazing.
One of my best hostels on the whole camino frances(800km)!!!clean, friendly, modern, comfortable, eye for detail, very friendly hospitaleros, interested in pilgrims. Dania called me by name from beginning!!!!! Really amazing. Delicious meals. Made me really feel welcome. Not just a hostel - but a HOME. A real juwel.
Thanks
The host Tanya was so friendly. She remembers everyone's name which is a lovely touch. The Albergue was so clean and fresh. The cafe is very modern. Dinner served from 7pm - 10pm which I liked as dinner was not a fixed time like communal dinners. The area was very peaceful and I found the bunk beds very comfortable. Lots of shower facilities so very little waiting. Highly recommend Albergue Monte Aro. Staff were a pleasure.
This albergue was so good! The owner was welcoming and always ready with a smile. The place is clean. Each of the 4 bathrooms were clean, with the shower being quite spacious. The bunk beds were sturdy and spaced appropriately. Lockers were also available. There were nice duvets for each bed.
Hostel is right on the Finisterre/Muxia Camino, the staff is friendly and nice, 4 full bathrooms (shower and toilets together) but I felt like bunk beds were too close as space was maximized to the most (more than 60 people in one large room). Washer and dryer available (fee), but it’s possible to wash and dry outside. Great restaurant right on premises, you don’t need to go anywhere after arriving.
Jose was super helpful & accommodating! Very beautiful hostel with many variety of room/bed options! We loved our space with kitchenette to have our breakfast before starting out on our Camino Finisterre.
Host and staff are very friendly and accommodating! At a great location right on the Camino. Everything was very clean and well maintained with great shower and toilet facilities. We got the private quad room which was perfect for us. Food was great with vegetarian options both in the evening and morning. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone!
