Such a welcoming home. It's cosy, they play wonderfully relaxing music in the evening and the dinner is everything a home cooked meal should be, fresh ingredients, made with care. We had a great stay at La Rectoria de Pedra. The location is idyllic and the property is beautiful inside and out. Breakfast was excellent. Although no evening meals were available during our stay, there is at least one outstanding restaurant in the local village just 10 minutes walk away.

It’s a very cozy hostel! Very authentic, clean, with shared spaces where you can use a microwave or a kettle, a fridge. Also they have some board games. The staff was very helpful!
One thing is that it’s a bit far from the station and walking by the route through the forest was another hike we didn’t expect :)
But we’ll definitely come again!

Staff were very friendly and keen to help us in any way possible. We had arrived on a bike tour and the staff wanted to make sure the bikes were locked away safely. The town of La Monica was very quiet so no restaurants in the vicinity were open. The staff kindly arranged for a buffet meal and accommodated for my Son's wishes to eat vegetarian food only.
compact but everything's there that's needed. the bunk beds worked for the kids, and the kitchen & open-area was really comfy. the fireplace is a bonus! close to the ski-slopes (though we still used a car there and back) and overall - very nice experience. we stayed for 4 nights, with 3 kids and 3 adults - and we're very happy.
