The staff was super friendly, always available and also organized a Taxi early in the morning for our airport transport. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and we always felt really safe.

I absolutely loved everything about this place. It's a quiet spot where you can rest well. Superbly located near the metro station and the bus that takes you directly to the middle of the world. Also, it's very close to the city center, about 20 or 30 minutes away, depending on the traffic. El Panecillo is relatively close too. An incredible place to stay in Hostel Quito!
Previously, I stayed at Hostel Secret Garden but decided to move because many people, including non-guests, would enter the restaurant and bar late at night, making a lot of noise with loud music. This made it feel unsafe.
Hostel Quito is incredible in especially Edison and doesn't have these issues. It's super safe with security cameras, and the kitchen is spacious and professional, ideal for travelers. The $3 breakfast is one of the best—delicious and clean.
The staff is very accommodating, providing shampoo, soap, and towels. The bed was super clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious and spotless, with beautiful wooden floors. The hostel has a lovely garden. If you need to work during your stay, you'll love it here.
Located steps from Plaz San Blas in Historical Quito, Casa CarpeDM offers accommodations in a modern yet classical building. WiFi is available in common areas.

The best thing about the Hostal is Fher, our host. She did everything to make us comfortable and helped
Is with all our questions, tours etc. Further, our room was oké, clean, but a bit on the small side. Matras was good.

Everything! The owner is a nice person who doesn’t hesitate to share informations about the city or the country. I really enjoyed staying in this hostel. It was my second home. I recommend it

We loved our stay here and will come back if we are ever in Quito again. The staff, food, rooftop, nearby laundry, and activities including free walking tour were exceptional. We felt very looked after by the staff, and it was the perfect place to explore old town from. We went in the free walking tour and Paulo was a great guide. We ate market fruit, learned some history, went chocolate tasting and walked through the beautifully preserved old streets.
Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
Great location, about 10 or 15 minutes by car from the airport. The hotel is surrounded by nature in a safe neighbourhood. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Authentic little hotel/hostel but left a lot to be desired. The host/owner was very accommodating but no A/C, lots of dogs barking at all hours, booked room as queen or King bed but given room with only double bed (asked again and they queen bed, but you can simply look at it and see it's a double bed).
This was in one of the suite rooms - very charming but bed too small. Their basic rooms are very small with little space to unpack or store luggage.
The room exceeded our expectations. Comfortable large bed and bathroom was lovely. 5 minutes from the airport and hostel organised transport to and from the airport. Perfect layover spot.
Felipe was so helpful! He picked us up from the airport and drove us to a bus station a few hours later. He stayed with us until he knew we were safe. Felipe, thank you so much for your kindness, you were so lovely!
Right next to the airport very convenient for an early flight, very cheap too, room was nice and clean, everything was working and the green surrounding is nice and it's very quiet at night. Food was good.
It is close to the airport. I had messaged the hotel to let them know that we would be in at 2:00 am. There was noone around at that time to check in. We had to look around for a doorbell to ring and wake someone up. We were not prepared for that. Consequently check-in took a very long time. The room was ok. The breakfast was not great. The complimentary shuttle was on time back to the airport. This property is family run and more like a hostel/motel but it was cheap so you get what you pay for.
I have made this hostel my base when flying from Quito! Great location close to the airport with buses passing regularly. The rooms are great - big and clean! Staff are lovely! They even held one of my bags for 11 nights while I went to the Galapagos. Highly recommend!
The hostel has a great location only a few kilometres away from the airport. We were able to book a room there quite spontaneously. It also offers a free shuttle service to the airport (especially useful when you need to catch an early flight). You can order food in for very reasonable prices.
