Secreto Hostel features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and bar in Isla Grande. Featuring a tour desk, this property also provides guests with a barbecue. The hostel also offers free WiFi as well as a paid airport shuttle service.

Secreto is like a hidden paradise. Rooms are big, toilets are clean. There are many optional activities available. Hostel is located in the middle of the forest near the beach. Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

Nicest people, delicious cocktails & food, a very relaxed environment. Outdoor shower epic view (we stayed on top floor). Felt very safe and no one was haranguing you, except to ask you what you want to eat or drink :) Definite highlight was going Nena Beach Club at Playa Blanca at about 4pm for sunset, which was gorgeous.

The view of the beach was amazing and staff were so kind and helpful. We had a bad experience with a robbery on the beach that made us feel unsafe but the staff were very accommodating and put our minds at rest. We would not have stayed the night if Ronaldo had not been so lovely. Nice breakfast too! Clean and comfortable bedroom.

We really enjoyed the view and the place. Staff was very nice. Overall it was a great location. We could even Kayak for free when we wanted! It’s the perfect place to disconnect and enjoy the sun and the calm. The beach was private too. We would go back without any hesitation!

    - Great Location Right on the water - lush green garden - tranquility (around noon you might hear some music from playa Cholon, but that is not really bothering) - delicious food - extremely friendly staff - free kayaks and private pier

Amazing Staff and rustic/minimalist atmosphere. From all the places, hotels and hostels this is for sure one of the best places to stay in Baru. Luis (the owner) and all the staff was really attentive and cared about all requests. Good food and breakfast. Lovely dinners by the sea... The place is extremely rustic, romantic and cute all built in wood structure. Missing some commodities but that's the spirit in wild Baru ;) Good white sandy beach, local food and blue sea!

Great location on a rather quiet part of the beach compared to the busy parts at the beginning of the beach, beach was beautiful with turquoise water, the staff was friendly, compared to other hotels on the beach it was a higher standard, they had own beach lounges which were very nice, the view from the balkony was stunning and you can also see the sunset from there

The hotel is in an amazing location, literally right on the beach. The staff were really helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. My partner had our birthday during our stay and the staff helped make it one to remember by setting us a great table up with balloons which we were very grateful for. The staff also helped with transport to the bird sanctuary nearby (make sure to ask as it's not safe to walk to) and also helped with transport to Cartagena.

Great location right by the sea, away from the crowded area. The staff was really helpful and arranged everything we asked. The hotel’s beach was cleaner than rest of the beach and a good thing is that the beach chairs are included.

The trip stated off with a one hour speedboat transfer from Cartagena, offering fabulous views of the city as you left the harbour. The transfer was efficient and comfortable, followed by a quick and easy check-in at the resort. The resort has several pools in addition to the ocean, so there is swimming for everyone. Rooms were clean and comfortable - try and book a bungalow if your budget allows. The resort welcomes day trippers every day, yet as a hotel guest you didn‘t see them at all.
