Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
Good location for exploring Jasper from a cheaper base. Comfortable rooms with a fridge and coffee machine, gym average, laundry facilities good. Complimentary breakfast amazing!
The cheapest option for miles!
Just simple and plain. Bed, bath, shower, toilet, tv, fridge, microwave, table, chair, mirror. That’s it. But what more would you need? Nothing fancy or fake. Just pain and honest. In my opinion much better than the fancy hotels that basically have the same but make it look like there’s more.
Tip: visit the bar.
Good clean safe basic motel. Good wifi, very clean. Motel is older, but very well maintained. Front desk staff was helpful (suggesting restaurants), friendly, and pleasant. We only needed a one-night stay as we drove through Hinton, and this motel was much cheaper than any other option, and had everything that we needed. There was a Keurig coffeemaker. No free breakfast - but Smittys, Tim Hortons, McDonalds are all nearby for breakfast.
Stayed there 2 nights on our road trips BC - Alberta. Used it as a cheaper alternative to overpriced Jasper. it is only 45 minutes drive from Jasper to Hinton and you pay almost twice less. Meanwhile, the road is quite scenic! Location is good, in a few meters - Safeway and Walmart, so you can buy whatever you need. The room was clean and comfy, no complaints.
Hot breakfast was also OK.
Generally, pretty good value for money
Great location, close to wallmart, safeway and canada tire. They serve good complimentary breakfast
