Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.
Budget and family friendly hotel. The hotel is basic but in a great location close to the main foreshore. I remember coming to this hotel when I was a child. Kids loved the pool and tennis court and the atrium with all the plants hanging down is beautiful. We booked a two bedroom apartment with 5 beds and everything that we needed for our stay. Very well priced 😀
Surprisingly we were upgraded from a 2bedroom to a 3 bedroom chalet and given the opportunity to stay another night for lesser $.
Large jacuzzi bathroom, cozy bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, strong dual aircon units and..... great location!
Builders Brewery is just across the street, fab restaurant by the marina with easy walks around the marina, fountains and easy fishing from the shore...(many blowfish though) - big plus? safe neighbourhood.
I paid $200 a night for a room they described as the king suite.. a premium room…. this it was not!
it was not much nicer then staying in a backpacker hostel…
the room was old smelly and outdated, the toilet never had enough pressure to flush properly the shower basically the same you had to stand under a trickle. The only thing it had going for it was indoor heated pool, but that and the spa were out of order.
ordered breakfast room service we are on second floor it came stone cold! definitely won’t stay here again very underwhelming
Great location to shops, beach and other services. Accommodation was clean and comfortable. All requests I made were met. All comforts for a cheap price.
